MAKE IT A FILM
You may notice that I LOVE candid shots if you have seen my work. I strive to take photos full of emotion: genuine laughs or tears, and I choose raw images over fake smiles any day of the week. That said, a photograph is one moment in time frozen for all eternity. It leaves a lot to the imagination. You can see how someone looks, but what about their personality? What about that cute little giggle we can't see?
That's where the film takes over. A film allows you to capture time: the sounds, the feelings, multiple perspectives, and most importantly, your kid's personality. As you know, it's ever-changing. Don't you want to remember the way your toddler's hand fits in yours? The way they looked at you and the spontaneous, unscripted gold that flowed from their mouth. I do!
A family film is not just about how you want to remember your children; it's about allowing them to see you! Your children, who may be too young to SEE you, will one day grow up and look back on these moments with much nostalgia. This film will grow with sentimental worth for everyone involved every passing year.
The only negative to a film is that you can't hang it on your wall for constant viewing. That's why my film collections include photographs because I want you to have it all. This post will show you the film and a sample of photos the family received from our 3hr afternoon hang.
