Spring is In
There can be a lot of anxiety around the idea of a Family photoshoot. People are naturally concerned that their children will not behave or that the session will be too long to keep the kids engaged.
I have one simple rule when it comes to Photographing children. DO NOT MAKE THEM DO ANYTHING. You can ask politely or try to trick them into action with a fun game, but if that kid doesn't want to do what you are asking them to do, move on.
I wholeheartedly believe that the best imagery comes from a place of freedom. If a child feels like they can play without demands and the parents feel free to be themselves, what remains is authentic.
I couldn't have asked for a better Family to spend a Sunny Afternoon with!
