Full Circle

Marie-Elena-Joseph has been one of my best friends for almost 15 years! She was my classmate in Holy Name Convent and my roommate in College. We moved to New York City around the same time and then bounced across the Country to Portland, OR for a short period. We have had our fair share of ups and downs, but we have always stuck by each-other and formed what I believe to be an everlasting friendship.

Naturally when I found out about her engagement, I was ecstatic. I was also a little bit sad. Marie was getting married to a man I had never met. Anyway, I finally met him and I can’t tell you how perfect they are together. I am so proud of her for finding her match, but this isn’t really about him (sorry bebe).

This is about her. This is about my friend that posed for me in college when I needed a model for my Photography assignments. This is a friend that acted as an assistant on several of my shoots and this is about a friend that I couldn't wait to photograph once again (back at home where our friendship began).
